| Post marketing adverse event reporting which may or may not indicate
a causal relationship with Copaxone ® has reported rare anaphylactoid
reaction while using glatiramer acetate. It should be noted however
that during pre-marketing studies of Copaxone ®, approximately
10% of MS patients exposed to glatiramer acetate experienced immediate,
post-injection, allergy-type reactions including: flushing, chest pain,
palpitations, anxiety, dyspnea (difficulty breathing), constriction
of the throat, and urticaria (hives).
