diabetes insipidus

Definition:

  • diabetes insipidus - a rare form of diabetes resulting from a deficiency of vasopressin (ADH - Antidiuretic hormone - the pituitary hormone that regulates the kidneys); leads to frequent urination and pronounced thirst
